Let me preface this by saying that these tips are for using a pc with internet explorer. If you are using Mac, I don't know if they will work or not. If you are using Mozilla, I don't know if they will work or not.

Open a link in a new window.

If you are using internet explorer and you hold the shift key while clicking on a link, the link will open in a new window. (You can also right click the link and click on open in new window)

View window in full screen.

Press the F11 key. To get back to regular view, press F11 again.

Create a screen shot of your computer.

Press the Print Screen button. This works just as if you had copied something and then you can paste it into a picture editing program or ms word to save to your computer.

Print selected text from a website.

Highlight the text you want to print. Right click and click on print. When your print dialogue box comes up, choose selection and print as usual. This only works on websites that are not right click protected. If the site is protected, click on file at the top of your IE window, then on print, then choose selection and print as usual.
